Uh-Oh

A selection of facts:

1. Our neighbours are away.

2. Himself is looking after their six rabbits.

3. He took Brodie with him when he went to feed them yesterday.

4. He didn't put a muzzle on Brodie.

5. Brodie is a Greyhound.

6. Brodie is very quick at snatching things.

Can you see where this is going yet? Yes, I thought you might.

I suppose I should be thankful he only got one of them. Himself was mortified and as the children apparently want a guinea pig, he has offered to buy one for them. But that's not the point really is it?

  1. OMG. Once, when I was recovering from surgery, and Bob was gone, Lizzie (Killer), our smallest Cairn Terrier, deposited a freshly gutted full sized rabbit on the throw rug beside our bed. A gift, I think. She let me take it, and dispose of it. Yuck.

    I guess, if they're hunters, they're hunters.

  4. Well, that will be the neighbours problem Jan. He'll buy one and they can take it from there. But I will tell them that as I didn't know.

And no, he's not a rocket scientist but he is incredibly intelligent so how he could have been so bloody stupid is quite beyond me.

  5. Now, you know that intelligence has nothing to do with stupidity. Maybe it was just a brain fart.

Poor bunny. Lucky, happy Brodie. Poor Himself.

  13. I didn't realize you have a Brodie, I have a Brodi. :) My Brodi wants to eat the mice everytime I try to photograph them. Saying a bunny prayer now.
