Seems I have pinched a nerve in my neck. And it flippin' well hurts. The diet of painkillers resumes.

Honestly, it feels like my body is falling apart at the seams at the moment.

And can you believe I forgot I had an hospital appointment yesterday morning!? Not only that but three weeks ago I forgot to get the blood tests for the hospital appointment yesterday morning. Not that it was for anything important. Oh no. Just an annual check to make sure the cancer hasn't come back. Easy to forget something like that isn't? *shakes head in bewilderment*

Seems my memory is falling apart as well.

BIRDSONG Update: In my post yesterday I linked to a birdsong that I couldn't identify. Well, our resident bird expert got equally irritated and has spent ages trying to identify it for me. Today he got it. Apparently it's a song thrush throwing in a strange bit of tune in between it's usual song.

  1. Don't worry, we all feel like that sometimes and you can rebook right?
Hope the neck is much better soon, and yay on the thrush. (that sounds so bad, hee hee.)

  2. Angela, Sorry about your neck, I hope the pain-killers work. When you re-schedule your appt., write it down everywhere, calendar, daytimer, note on the 'frig. See, my experience is speaking.

  3. Hoping that the pain subsides very soon.

Glad that you've managed to get the bird identified! I'd not had a chance to go through the DVD - the last couple of days have been a tad frantic. Song Thrush is listed so it'll be interesting to listen and see if I would have got it!

Take care, sending good thoughts for your poorly neck and memory!

  4. Sorry about the pain in the neck. My husband tells me that's my problem too. I'm a real pain in the neck. Oh wait, I think he meant that I have a real pain in my neck. Hmmmm. Now you've got me thinking.

Anyway, feel better. And if you haven't already, try acupuncture. I couldn't live without it.

  5. How old are you?... before I started menopause I had a real problem with short term memory - during what is called perio menopause.

I don't know if I'm better or if I just got used to it. ha

I love the bird calls. So wonderful to hear them, isn't it?
Hear what? ha ha ha ha ha

  6. Pamela, I'm 43 so quite possibly peri-menopausal. Yeah! Bring it on!!

  7. I put reminders on my google calender and in a diary and I have still been known to forget!
