In the nick of time

Signing up to Blogging 365 was all very well last December when we were in the depths of winter with long evenings to fill. Now that summer is almost here, there's too much to be doing outside to be stuck indoors in front of the computer.

I'm really wondering whether I can keep up with blogging every day. But I set myself the goal and I can't bear to fail. Such a dilemma.

  1. I do NOT know how you do it. And you do it so well. I simply couldn't.

  2. Well, if you do quit Blog365, please don't do one of those "I have friends and a life unlike you losers" posts. Back in late Feb/early March, there were tons of those on the Blog365 feed. People who chose to quit seemed to feel the need to fire off parting shots to the rest of us. Guilt? Sheer pissiness?

When I have nothing to say and feel like the Blog365 obligation is like the heavy chain Jacob Marley wore when he appeared to Scrooge ("I wear the chain I forged in life. I made it link by link and yard by yard"), then I post pictures of my dog Buddha.

  3. I'm feeling the same way. When the sun is shining I have no business being inside on the computer. When I don't know what to post I post a meaningful quote. Or a photo. Or I write something about cheese. It doesn't matter really.

Here's something you could do: post one inflamatory word and then offer up your comments section for us to talk amongst ourselves. No pressure. Enjoy life, eh!
