Camera bore again!

I mentioned in a blog a few weeks back that a friend was selling all their Nikon gear and I had my eye on the Sigma 10-20mm lens he had up for grabs.

Well, now I have not only my eye on it but my smutty little hands as well! And, of course, it's pretty much rained ever since it arrived.

I've only been able to get out with it once and this is not a good shot by any stretch of the imagination it gives you an idea of how absolutely brilliant this lens is going to be!

    Wow, good buy. my smallest is 18mm, my largest is 70mm, and they're both the same lens!

    also my only lens:(

    I have my sights on a sigma 200-300 at some stage though.

    me??? We're living parallel lives, except that you're getting all the lenses I covet first.

    I was just in the camera store asking about the Sigma 10-20mm yesterday. YESTERDAY. Damn you. See me shaking my fist???

    Jealousy jealousy jealousy. Oh just put me out of my misery and post more photos already!

    (Oh, but did I mention the 85mm f/1.8 I just bought??? It's GOLD I tell ya, GOLD!!)
