Stu's Tuesday Challenge #12 - Purple

I reallystruggled with this challenge this week. I have a beautiful purple flower in my garden and I have struggled to get the camera to capture the depth of colour in the flower. THis was about the best I could manage.

    A tough task... I wonder if it would have worked to contrast it with a complementary colour? Maybe show just a part of the flower against a bright yellow or orange background?

    I just love the color purple. And I'm dying to see flowers right now. We're still sitting with a lot of snow here so this is nice to see.
